Hello everyone. I am Desoza Peaterr. I am just now working on my project. I worked on it yesterday, and I got a lot done. But I have a lot still to do. I live in SE Tennesee, USA. It is beautiful country here amid the Appalachian chain of Mountain . We are close to the Great Smokey, with Gatlinburg as its resort village.

I have so many hobbies that time doesn't allow me to fully pursue them all. Every day I work on the computer. I love the PSP program, and I am taking several lessons to learn more about the complex tools that it has. I am also learning Oracle 9i. I have made three presentations so far. I love music and easy listening. I write prose, poetry, and didactic writings.

I am sure there's a lot of interesting topics and discussions happening on this forum and wanted to check it out.

This is about it.

These past five months have been a very rough time, actually these past two years have been up and down for myself, the only good times I have had is on the day which was July 17th 2007 which was the day I met the walrus, but also for another reason which I will get into when I co host sometime in the near future, but for about five months now I have been going through a very tough time. Just today for an example, I come home from classes and I found out today an about 3 days or 7 days at the most, I will be loosing part of my childhood forever, I am talking about my dog name Sheba, she is dying as she no longer has a healthy working kidney and liver, we are waiting for my sister to come home tomorrow, because we certainly do not her to suffer m in pain, I know some will say its just a dog, however by looking at this photo below, it will tell you that for myself and in my family we consider her more then that.

Stacey Herald: The 2ft 4in mother shows her bump

The world’s smallest mother is about to give birth for the third time - despite warnings she is risking her life.

Stacey Herald, who is just 2ft 4in tall, was told that becoming pregnant could kill her, but bravely defied doctors to have two babies half her height.

The 35-year-old from Dry Ridge, Kentucky in the U.S. suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which causes brittle bones and underdeveloped lungs, and means she failed to grow.

Now Mrs Herald, who uses a wheelchair, and her husband Will, who is 5ft 9in, are eagerly awaiting the birth of their third baby, due in the next four weeks.

Currently as wide as she is tall, she cannot hold her daughter because her belly gets in the way, and has to rely on her husband to do most things around the house.

She admits being pregnant is ‘uncomfortable’ and leaves her bedridden for weeks on end.

By the time the new addition, a boy, is one he will already tower over his mother.

But despite all the obstacles, the mother and father, a trainee priest, say they want even more children.

The couple met in 2000 while working for a supermarket in their home town and were desperate for a family after marrying in 2004.

But doctors warned Mrs Herald a baby would grow so large inside her tiny body it would eventually crush her organs, strangling her from the inside out.

Mrs Herald said: ‘It broke my heart that I couldn’t have kids.

‘All my life my parents had told me that I could do anything. Then there were these doctors telling me that we couldn’t be a complete family. It really hurt.’
Stacey Herald

Outgrown: Mrs Herald, her husband Will and their two daughters - they are all taller than the 35-year-old

Eight months later, the couple were thrilled when they discovered they were expecting and decided to go ahead even though family and doctors begged them to reconsider.

Mrs Herald, who had decided not to take contraception, said: ‘They all told me that I would die. They begged me not to have a baby.

'Even my mother said,” You know you won’t survive right?” ‘I told her: “It’s a miracle that I am here, that I have life, why couldn’t this be a miracle too?”’
In love: Mrs Herald dances with her 5ft 9in tall husband

After 28 weeks, doctors performed a cesarean section and daughter Kateri was born, weighing just 2lbs and 1oz in 2006.

She grew well but there was heartbreak for the family when they discovered Kateri had inherited Mrs Herald’s condition and would also never grow to a normal height.

But the young family resumed life as normal, before Mrs Herald fell pregnant a year later.

She said: ‘It was kind of like the last time, everyone screamed: “What are you doing?” at us.

‘The doctors told me I was pushing my luck. But we just prayed that God would bring us through it.’ However this pregnancy took its toll on the little mother.

She said: ‘It was hard, I got so much bigger faster. At my worst point I remember bursting into tears, because I looked like a beach ball with a head and little feet.

‘I spent weeks unable to do anything for myself because my stomach was so big. At one point I dislocated my arm when I was moving from my chair into bed, because I just wasn’t used to the weight on my arms.

‘I’ve always been able to do everything but this time I just couldn’t and I found that really upsetting to have Will help me wash and go to the toilet.

‘Also he was trying to look after a 16-month old, so it was tough on both of us.’

Doctors tried to let the second baby stay in her body for as long as possible, letting her pregnancy go to 34 weeks before wheeling her into theatre.

Daughter Makaya who, at 18 inches was more than half her mother’s body length when she was born, weighed 4lbs and 7oz.

Now both girls are bigger than their mother who is 30 weeks pregnant with her first boy.

She said: ‘It’s getting tougher and tougher to move.

‘At the moment because I’m getting really big again I can’t hold my youngest daughter because my belly gets in the way and I can’t get my arms around her.’
Stacey Herald

Tender: Mrs Herald, who suffers from suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, plays with her daughter Makaya

Mrs Herald added: ‘All my babies are miracles, but we haven’t thought about if we’re going to have some more, as they”re a real handful right now.

‘We didn’t plan to have more than two kids, we just think that they’re a great gift to the world, and when I look at them I see Will and I feel so full of love, it’s tough not to want more.’

So I was bored and decided to read some articles on Cracked, specifically this one. The list has to do with ridiculous ancient beliefs that thrive on the internet and their #2 is what they call "Dowsing", something I am actually really familiar with.

I've never heard it called dowsing before, but, I have seen this done before and it works 100% of the time. I'm not saying you can find any kind of minerals and whatever else they say in the article, but you actually can find power lines, oil, and water. I grew up in the oilfield and know firsthand that this works as my family owns a company that drills anchors into the ground to provide support for service rigs.

That being said, we use "witching" sticks which are just two rods, I'm unsure what type of metal they are, but, if you hold them out at arms length loosely in your hands and walk around an area they will move in your hands and point together when you cross a power line and many other things. The weird thing is that not everyone can get them to work, I've only done it once but my dad used them pretty much every day he drove our anchor trucks so that he wouldn't drill into a power line or oil lines.

Have you ever experienced something that made you believe in a myth or "ridiculous ancient belief"?

Got some news for my fellow ZF fans, and much as I wish it were good, it's more sort of a "meh..." thing.

As I mentioned in HelloKitty's "Why is it so dead?" thread, it seems like every time the forums have come back to ZipperFish lately, I've run into unrelated computer problems. Last time this happened was March, and I wound up having to get a whole new machine as a result.

And it happened again middle of last week. Good news is that I may not have to pay to get it fixed because it's still under warranty. And luckily I have a laptop I can still do some things on.

It's still frustrating as hell, though, because the new comp was only six months old, and the laptop is obsolete enough that it can't handle streaming video for shit. With that in mind, I kinda have to pick which shows I watch. This means I'll probably only be around for the Friday show, and even then, how long depends on how much of a little biznatch my laptop is about it.

Right now, I'm really regretting not getting a Mac.

Hey all

I'm Albo from aus. I'm 22 years of age

My real name is Alex. Been listening since ZFTR old days, with Jack. Jim actually helped me set up my own show that failed miserably. We called Jim once on the show randomly for an interview (not sure if you remember Jim) which was very mind blowing for us seeing as he helped me start the show and gave me all the initial advice for a new show. This was back in like 2003/4 maybe, I can't remember the exact date.

Anyway I don't really jump on forums much but I'll try and be a frequent user.

I recently watched Big Al on the show and it was an awesome show. Hopefully I'll be the second aussie on the show in the near future. I am planning a world wide trip fairly soon. I've never been out of the country so I figured I'd go see a whole bunch of places before returning. After seeing BigAl from Australia on the show it really inspired me to do something so hopefully my visit won't be too far away!

Hopefully I can come to Florida ( I think that's where the show is, i forget sorry :() and see Jim and perhaps the NLO show, the only two shows I can stand.

I used to be apart of the ZHC when it first started, as you can see from my avatar.

Remember those ID Cards?

Well, I look forward to being a better fan and being more active.

Cya!
